2nd District Chief Ray Orozco just after he came out of the building at the extre-alarm in the old Sun Times building on Wabash and the river. This was an electrical wiring fire in which the gases were somewhat less than healthy. He took a lot of toxic smoke.
Ray Orozco was subsequently promoted to Assistant Deputy Commissioner Operations, and then to CFD Commissioner.
