Photos of Chicago Firefighters at work. Photography by Alan Jacobs.
From time to time one hears complaints by some of the public about the lack of city services. These photos prove the opposite. So many firemen, trucks, Special Operations personnel, paramedics and support equipment; just for two men, two lives. NAMES NEEDED NAMES NEEDED NAMES NEEDED
Shoring held firm by air pressure. Notice at the far left, just to the right of the partially cut off Special Operations firemen, a yellow tube attached to the Air Shore. This is attached on the other end to an air bottle and pressure gauges. The red tube is attached to the other Air Shore. Air is pushed under pressure through the large, yellow accordion tube.
